Cattleya Measuresiana is a primary hybrid between Cattleya walkeriana and Cattleya aclandiae that is incredibly fragrant and flowers multiple times per year. The first time we made this hybrid, we also used Cattleya aclandiae 'Krull-Smith' FCC/AOS as a pollen parent, and this resulted in a group of seedlings that were larger and more intensely colored than any previous times this hybrid had been made and these plants received five AMs and two FCCs. We expect more from that batch to be awarded in the future, and even more from this batch to be of similar or superior quality. The first seedling has flowered from this batch, and we are expecting lots of great things. Plants are near flowering size in 3" pots.
