This new hybrid should be producing some interesting compact Cattleyas. Rth. Carolina Orange D'or produces over a half dozen bright orange flowers with great shape. Rlc. Rubescence is known for its breeding of full, flat red flowers with darker red lips. In this cross we are expecting the potential for relatively large, full flowers with orange or red sepals and petals and a dark red lip on compact plants sporting 3+ flowers per inflorescence. Plants are well established in 3" pots.
