Bulbophyllum frostii is a wonderful miniature species of Bulbophyllum that is also known as the Dutch Shoe orchid for its resemblance to clogs. These can grow great potted, mounted, or in a basket and are very tolerant of a wide variety of temperature conditions. This species can range from green, cream or red with dark red spots throughout. These plants are Colchicine Treated meaning some will be tetraploids and will bloom with massive flowers. The second picture shows an example of a suspected tetraploid compared to a normal frostii. Plants are flowering size in a 3" pot.
