Bulbophyllum orthosepalum (syn. Bulb. hashimotoi) is one of the rarest of the species in Bulbophyllum section Macrobulbon! This is from the same group as Bulbophyllum phalaenopsis and Bulbophyllum fletcherianum and is among the largest growing Bulbophyllum in the world - along with some of the strangest! The flowers can reach up to four inches in length and will flower multiple times per year and resemble shoes or a helmet. These are rarely available and usually fetch a hefty sum when they are. Plants are well established in 3" pots.
