Cattleya Aurora's Newyears Gift is a primary hybrid between two fantastic bifoliate Cattleya species. Cattleya tigrina is famous for its extremely fragrant, red to chocolate flowers with maroon spots on inflorescences that can carry over twenty-five flowers each! Cattleya granulosa can get well over a dozen flowers per inflorescence with flowers that are over five inches wide! These were made with a red form of C. granulosa so we're expecting all of these to be in the red tones with deep maroon spots with larger flowers than C. tigrina, more flowers than C. granulosa, and of course, a fantastic - almost chocolatey - fragrance! Plants are flowering size in 6" pots.
