These large showy Cattleya are one of the most iconic species in the genera. Cattleya purpurata is one of the ancestors for a large majority of the hybrids we see in cultivation today. This variety has a gorgeous pink lip and contrasting white sepals and petals, this species is always a showstopper! We are on our fourth generation of line-bred Cattleya purpurata as we work towards making better examples of the species. These plants are colchicine treated in hopes of receiving larger flowers with even more intense coloration in the lip! Plants are near flowering size in 4" pots.
