This new hybrid could be a really fun start to spotted green pendulous Cymbidium breeding! Cym. Miss Muffet (Cym. devonianum x Cym. floribundum) gives us many high flower count inflorescences with flowers ranging from bronze to green along with a bright red patch on the lip. Cym. Cheryl Erins 'Friend' is of course bringing beautiful burgundy spotting on a light green background with some bronze blushing. The hope here is fuller formed flowers with a green background and burgundy spots on plants that are easy-flowering with lots of flowers per inflorescence. Of course, with the heavy Cym. devonianum and Cym. floribundum background, these should bloom as well in florida as they will in cooler climates. Plants are well established in 3" pots.
